The creative point of view of "Sleepless" originated from a social news event. That year I saw several news cases of smuggling pangolin scales, and tons of so-called "traditional Chinese medicine" scales were burnt to the ground. The pangolin is a creature that often makes me feel pity. Its weak and invulnerable body is covered with protective armor, but it is vulnerable to human slaughter. Is it sleeping peacefully or fearful? Can a cold metal "hotbed" allow weak beings to sleep peacefully?
